What will you learn?

Livingworks ASIST helps particioants become willing, ready and able to intervene with someone who has thoughts of sucide. You will learn to:

Help someone with the thoughts of suicide develop a safety plan to keep safe-for-now and connect with further help.
Apply a Safety Framework to guide the development of this SafePlan through a collabarative, helping relationship.
Understand how personal and community attitudes about suicide affect someone's openness to seek help and your ability to provide it.
Build confidence and capacity in providing suicide firdt-aid.

What is the Cancellation Policy ?

You can cancel your registration anytime using Eventbrite . Eventbrite will charge you a cancellation fee according to their policy

Are there accommodations?

Accommodation and flight is not included in the registration.

What should I wear?

Dress is smart casual and comfortable clothes. Please dress in layers so you will be comfortable should the training room temperature fluctuate. Military personnel, please no uniforms.

What if I have dietary requirements?

Please let us know any dietary requirements/allergies during registration.

What is included in my registration fee

Your registration fee includes the workshop, lunch, snacks and refreshments.
