Join us for the opening keynote of the Our Whole Society Conference: Fostering Hope in a Divided World, held at the Canadian Museum of Human Rights, in Winnipeg, June 15-17, 2025.

Organized by the Canadian Interfaith Conversation, the national Our Whole Society conference draws insights from diverse faith traditions and secular perspectives to address pressing social challenges and foster the common good.

Highlighting grassroots experiences that are making positive contributions to Canadian society, this year’s conference will convene representatives from government, academia and civil society to explore sources of hope in relation to human rights, reconciliation, climate change, polarization, and international affairs.

How do we recognize the gravity of challenges before humanity while still working toward a more positive collective future? What conceptions of hope encourage and sustain collective action? What sources of hope can we draw upon to meet the pressing demands of our time?

The Winnipeg Jazz Orchestra will perform a special musical arrangement on the theme of hope in times of crisis to open the conference on Sunday, June 15.
